I grew up competing at the Standing Ovation Dance Festivals. I loved performing and I’ll never forget the high energy and supportive atmosphere that I felt walking into that festival each day. I loved the Encore dance offs and how organized and wonderful they were. I graduated from Shelley’s Dance Company in 2016 and then auditioned for and attended Canada’s National Ballet School in the Teacher Training Program. I studied there for 3 years and received my RAD RTS as well as my ISTD Nat., and NBS Dip.. Upon graduating I received many job offers around the world including China, Germany, Scotland, England, and all over Canada and the USA . I accepted a job in Scotland as head of the ballet program and I love living abroad. I hope all dancers find the joy in competing as I did at Standing Ovation!
