Reflecting on my time as a competition dancer, I have such fond memories involving the Standing Ovation festivals. Not only was it one of the most energetic and supportive organizations, but it also fostered such strong connections between all of its participants. I met so many kind, talented artists because of Standing Ovation! After graduating from Shelley’s Dance Company in 2015, I attended the University of Arizona on a talent scholarship, pursuing a BFA in Dance. During my career as a collegiate athlete, I went on to earn a mentorship with the very first jazz dance company in the USA, Giordano Dance Chicago. In 2017, I accepted my first Broadway contract with the world famous Radio City Rockettes in New York City. Appearing on Access Hollywood, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, and numerous taxi and television advertisements, I have been very fortunate to establish a career as a professional dancer. Throughout my career, I have also performed on various television networks and have partaken in ad campaigns for InStyle Magazine, NY Magazine, Rockettes.com, Snapchat, and Squarespace. I am forever grateful for the lessons and experiences that Standing Ovation provided me at the start of my career in the arts!
